So, is anyone else finding that Virgin Media are capping Usenet speeds down
to an unusable level?

Sometimes. AIUI, they allocate a fixed amount of bandwidth per area. The
more who use it, the less each gets.

They also appear to be throttling off-net usenet traffic significantly
more than to their "own" servers, Highwind in the Netherland.

There are various ways around it
Only way I've found is to move to BT - no prolems there :-)
